Alcohol Ink Effects on Crackled Gold Leaf/Krakleetehnikas polümeersavist kaelakee

Today I finished a bead embroidery necklace. The centerpiece is polymer clay cabochon covered with crackled Fimo gold leaf and Adirondack inks (Pool, Caramel). To give this cabochon nice sheen and to protect inks and gold leaf I used spray named PYM II. I was so happy to find it in Europe in Happy Things.

Lõpetasin täna ära kaelakee, kus kaunistasin helmestikandiga ühe krakleetehnikas polümeersavist kamee. Kasutatud on kuldset Fimo metall-lehte, värvi lisamiseks Adirondack`i tinti (Pool, Caramel) ja Sculpey kamee vorme.

Langevate lehtede aeg/ Falling Leaves. Autumn Inspired Polymer Clay Necklace

Some days ago Meg Newberg sent me her new polymer clay tutorial and inspired by beautiful falling leaves of maples in the park  I made this warm-colored necklace. Dark brown bead are made of wood.

Helmestikandis sügisvioletne kaelaehe/ Bead Embroideried Purple Necklace

Lõbus suvine ehtekomplekt/Cheerful Polymer Clay Jewelry

Kõrvarõngastel on sterlinghõbedast konksud. Ega tavalisi enam eriti ei tahagi kasutada, hõbe annab ikka ehtele väärtust juurde.

Today I made a cheerful  summer jewelry set of polymer clay necklace and earrings. At first I made leaf cane (one tutorial amongst others is Leaf Cane Tutorial), sliced it, placed sliced around little fimo beads and rolled with hands until my beads were smooth and round. Then I baked 45 minutes, samded and burnished with fleece. Little teal beads were rolled on 60 grit sandpaper. Earhooks are made of sterling silver to add little more value to jewelry.

Flower Shawl Pin/Lilleline sallinõel

Some time ago I knitted a Revontuli shawl for myself , but didn`t found matching pin for this. As I`m big fan of 2 Good Claymates I bought their tutorial Constructing Accent Pieces For Your Scarves, Sweaters and Shawls and today  made a flower shawl pin at last.

Kudusin endale juba ammu Revontuli õlaräti, kuid ei leidnud sobivat sallinõela. Mõni aeg tagasi jäi mulle silma “GoodClaymates blogist silma lillekujuline sallinõel, mis tundus sobivat. Seekord ostsin nende juhendi ka,kuigi tavaliselt pusin ise. Ja tulemusega olen väga rahul.

I knitted new cardigan for myself, but didn`t find matching buttons. So I made them from polymer clay, using piece of wallpaper to add texture to black Fimo. I had turquoise Inca Gold Paste, but it wasn`t  the “right” color for the buttons(yarn color was petrol or teal), but I also had Mica Powder Paints (Zesty Lime). Mixing them together I got the perfect result. After applying the paste to textured clay I cutted buttons out using the smallest Fat Daddio round cutter, cured them on the small light bulb and filled with clay. Buttons have metal chanks made of 0.8 mm silved plated wire.I just pressed them to the clay and textured the back of button with wallpaper around my finger.

Scarf Jewelry/Salli ehe

I am a big fan of 2 Good Claymates, especially their scarf jewelry. My mother saw me looking their website and asked me to make one scarf necklace for her green scarf too. I gave it a try,of course, and here it is:

For the back of  flower I  cut a football-shape piece of polymer clay with Fat Daddio cutter and folded it in half. Fortunately I had some little green cat`s eye cabochons for the center. My mother was really happy to have this gift and so was I. :) Thanks to 2 Good Claymates for inspiration!

Bead embroidery Jewelry/Helmestikandis ehted

I have watched and admired for a long time bead embroidery jewely created by others. Now I tried to make it myself too and I really like it. At first I used some cat`s eye and chrysocolla cabochons to make couple of necklaces.
Olen tükk aega imetlenud teiste loodud helmestikandis ehteid .

Some words about used material. The thread I used was One G. It was a bit stiffer than Nymo which was good.First rows were made with Miyuki Delica beads 11/0. Other beads were Miyuki round seed beads 15/0, Toho seed beads 11/0 and 4mm glass beads Beading foundation I bought here. Finally I glued Ultra Suede to the back to hide threads.

Tikkimisaluseks on materjal, mille tellisin siit. Tagaküljele alusmaterjali peale kleepisin Ultra Suede`i ,et peita tikkimisread.
